I am a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, advised by Prof. Ahmed Arafa. My research focuses on trustworthy and personalized federated learning, with emphasis on spectral data geometry, noisy-label robustness, distributed optimization, and system-aware learning.

A central theme of my work is using the geometry of decentralized data to extract useful structure when supervision or training dynamics are unreliable. I develop methods for discovering client collaboration structures, identifying unreliable clients and corrupted labels, and designing robust personalized learning algorithms while preserving data locality. I also study the theoretical foundations of eigenspace-based clustering and the impact of communication and computation constraints on hierarchical federated learning.

My broader research interests include federated and distributed learning, optimization, system identification, wireless communications, and trustworthy AI. My work has appeared in IEEE TCCN, IEEE ICC, IEEE WCNC, Asilomar, CVPR FedVision, and Allerton.

I received the Outstanding Graduate Research Assistant Award from UNC Charlotte and the Bharatkumar S. Joshi Scholarship.
